Guía Boquete is a curated, bilingual directory of the businesses, farms, and people of Boquete, Panama. It exists because the town deserves a real product, not a form behind a Wix page.
Every listing is reviewed before publication. Listings can be unverified, owner verified, or verified by Guía Boquete, and paid visibility will always be clearly labeled.
Coverage is intentionally broad. A coffee farm growing Geisha at 1,700m and a bakery in Bajo Boquete that bakes empanadas at 5 a.m. both belong here, because both of them are what Boquete is.
Why this matters now
The search industry is shifting. People increasingly ask AI tools where to find local businesses, and those tools build answers from crawled web content. Most Boquete businesses live on Instagram and WhatsApp, which AI tools cannot read. A listing on a credible directory is the simplest way to be findable in a search-driven web that is increasingly AI-mediated.
How Guía Boquete started
Guía Boquete started in 2026 after we kept noticing the same thing: searching for Boquete businesses online turned up listings that were closed, hours that hadn't been right in years, and reviews that read like ad copy. The locals knew. The internet didn't. We started this site to fix that gap for our town, one verified listing at a time.

Why bilingual
Half of Boquete is English-speaking expats and visitors. Half is Spanish-speaking residents and the families who have run businesses here for generations. A guide that only works in one language fails half the town. So we wrote it in both, natively.
